Reblocell is a skincare company in Korea specializing in reducing wrinkles and helping with anti-aging. As a result, Reblocell has focused all of its energy on EGF technology. If you have never heard of EGF before don’t worry. I will explain everything you need to know about this exciting new skincare innovation.

What is EGF?

EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor. It was discovered in 1986 by Dr. Stanley Cohen. It was fascinating to learn that EGF is actually found naturally in the human body and plays a significant role in creating new skin cells. 

Specifically, it acts as a signal protein that sends messages when skin regeneration is needed. This starts the process of creating new skin cells. However, the production of EGF in the body starts to rapidly decrease once we reach the age of 20. Which is when people will usually begin to notice their first wrinkles forming.

What is unique about Reblocell’s EGF products?

Plant-derived EGF can be found in other products. However, Reblocell is one of the only companies whose products contain human-derived proteins. This means that they are identical to the EGF already found in our bodies. Which, makes them much more compatible with our skin.

First Impressions

After meeting staff at Reblocell’s head office who explained all the benefits of using products with EGF, especially for someone my age (yes, I’m getting up there in years), I was led over to Reblocell Aesthetics to try their products first hand. All of which were administered by an expert esthetician. 

When I entered Reblocell Aesthetics, the first thing I noticed was how beautifully styled the space was. There were massage beds where I could lie down and wait for a bit before going in for my appointment. Maybe you should plan to arrive a little early and wait for a bit… The massage beds are VERY comfortable.

Treatment

Once inside the treatment room, the esthetician went over all of Reblocell’s products and the procedures we would be doing in detail. She made me feel very reassured about the entire process. 

First, she cleansed my face using Reblocell’s Blossom Foam. It is an alkaline foam cleanser that has 10 herbal extracts including; licorice, black tea, perilla leaf, yak buckwheat, ginseng, chrysanthemum, rehmannia, peony, purslane, and angelica.

Next, the Blossom Booster was applied to maximize the absorption of the Blossom Ampoule, which is their star product.

Furthermore, the sterile and preservative-free ampoule was applied using the Blossom Needle Shot, a microneedle system (MTS). 

If you’ve never had an MTS before, it is a square device consisting of densely packed needles. It was used to deliver the ampoule in the most effective manner possible, assuring maximum absorption.

Surprisingly, as terrifying as a square of densely packed needles sounds, it didn’t hurt. However, if it were to hurt you could tell the esthetician and they would find you an alternative form of application.

Finally, to deliver a final punch of EGF goodness, the esthetician applied a Blossom Prestige Mask. She also gave me a mask to take home. She told me to apply it 2-3 after our session. Thus, I applied the Blossom Premium Mask at home as directed, two days later. 

Reblocell’s Quality Ingredients

Reblocell’s masks have just seven ingredients. The Blossom Premium Mask contained: Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Glycerin, Mannitol, 1,2-hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, RH-oligopeptide-1, RH-polypeptide-1.

The company does its best to ensure that the EGF has maximum effectiveness. As a result, there are no preservatives added to any of their products. Preservatives would make the EGF deteriorate.

The sheet mask itself is a cellulose mask. Which, is made from an edible material with fibers that were extracted from coconuts. So, I felt good knowing that the product I was using was environmentally friendly. Plus, it’s one of those masks that was soothing from the moment it touched my skin. I was in heaven!

Conclusion

To wrap up my experience, I had a very calming self-care experience with Reblocell. The Blossom Serum and Blossom Cream were my favorite products.

I have dry skin, but the cream absorbed into my skin very well and by the end of my treatment, my skin was looking as fresh and youthful as ever!

All of Reblocell’s products are preservative-free and simple. They try to limit the number of ingredients in an effort to keep their products as straightforward for their customers as possible. They successfully created some amazing products that were able to improve my skin texture, elasticity and reduce my wrinkles.

I left my treatment experience with a bag of products, and have continued to use them at home. Since using their products, I’ve noticed a marked difference in how my skin looks within just a few weeks.

In the meeting at the beginning of my experience, the manager showed me pictures of other customers who had used their products over the course of a month. The before-and-after photos showed significant differences in skin texture, elasticity, and reduced wrinkles. I will definitely continue to use these products so that I can continue to keep my EGF in tip-top shape so that I can continue to have a youthful glow for many years to come.
